Ulysses Hotel
Situated in the heart of Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, the Ulysses Hotel resides in the 1912 Latrobe Building, designed by architects Glidden & Friz, originally conceived as an apartment tower for affluent gentlemen. Il Marmo crafted the mosaic floor in the lobby. To translate a design vision rooted in balance between form and color into complex, handcrafted work that ensures both aesthetic refinement and long-term durability. The creation process is intrinsically connected to the location, adhering to a broader design philosophy that emphasizes a harmonious interplay of shapes and colors.
